Joey Pollari is an editor, musician, writer, and director hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He started out work as an actor, performing in such projects as “Love, Simon,” “American Crime,” “Up All Night,” “Saint George,” and “Sugar.” Through these projects, he worked in close collaboration with directors such as Greg Berlanti, John Ridley, Gregg Araki, Rachel Morrison, Kimberly Pierce, and Fernando Meirelles.
His passion for directing and editing is multifarious. He has directed and edited music videos with a deep interest in the experimental films of Stan Brakhage and Jonas Mekas, as well as music videos with modern influences such as Jonathan Glazer and Chris Cunningham.
